Loudoun Cares is working with the community group In the Gap to collect new and slightly used coats as well as new backpacks and school supplies for Loudoun County Public School students. We need some wonderful volunteers to help with the following:
Sunday, August 15th:
Volunteers will help organize, separate and label the different coat sizes and also help with sorting and filling backpacks.
Shifts will be: 12noon - 3pm and 3pm to 6pm
Monday, August 16th
Volunteers needed from 2pm-5pm to help sort & label any items that were dropped off late and also to help move & set up the items in the lobby for pick up.
Monday night volunteer opportunities stay tuned.
Both minors and adults will need to sign a waver for Axes & O's since the event will be in their building. We will send the waiver in a separate email once you respond to the need.
