We need volunteers throughout the year but in particular during the Waterford Fair, the first full weekend of October.
Areas to help:
The Old Mill Shop - set up, intake of craft/art items, retail, cashiers, post event inventory, artisan pick up.
Fine Art Competition & Art Mart Sales - art intake, hang show, sales, solicit prize donations (phone work), break down show
Beer & Wine at the Old School - ticket sales, pour beer, work with winery staff to pour samples
Re-enactors & performers - great for drama groups/clubs/dancers/singers
Dried Flower Barn - set up, sales, break down
Area chairpersons - during the fair be the main contact person for the artisans in your designated area
Ticket takers
Set safety fencing - join the crew that helps get the grounds ready the week before the Fair
Home Tour docents - greet visitors & share property history from prepared script
Artisan Booth sitters - give the artisans a chance to grab lunch, use the restrooms, etc.
