If you want to use your computer skills to make a difference in someone's life, consider volunteering your time with Computer CORE.
We will need volunteer instructors and teacher assistants to teach Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Keyboarding to low-income adults who are striving towards more successful employment opportunities. Career coaches are needed too!!
Our instructors teach as a team, one or two evenings a week (your choice) for 18 weeks. Classes have no more than 12 adults. It is a fun and gratifying experience where you get to meet people from everywhere on the globe while you use your skills and your creativity.
Next semester begins late January 2018.
Depending on the site, classes are Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. All classes are 6-9PM. We have two locations in Herndon with other locations throughout Fairfax County.
