Who We Are
Computer CORE is a community-based, volunteer-driven organization that offers basic computer and job skills training to low-income adults throughout Northern Virginia.
Core is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization now in its 16th year serving Northern Virginia.
What We Do
Computer CORE helps low-income adults acquire technological skills to pursue their career aspirations by providing computer and job search training.
- Classes meet twice a week for five months
- Day and evening classes available
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Typing, Internet and Email use
Career development skills:
- Resume and cover letter writing
- Effective interviewing skills
- Goal setting for career advancement
