The 5KK is a 5K run hosted by the Love, KK Foundation. We raise money for community-serving programs like Farm to Food Pantry, the Acts of Kindness Internship, and scholarships. Every program supports our vision: Support Small, Grow Your Community.
Our 5KK race is on June 6, 2026 — and we need your help!
We’re looking for volunteers to spread out along the course to:
• Cheer on runnes
• Help direct participants along the route
• Be our eyes and ears for any injuries or issues
Our course winds through farmland, along the Potomac River, and through the forest, it’s beautiful, but also requires attentive volunteers to help keep everyone safe and on track.
Volunteer notes:
- Dress to protect yourself from sun, bugs, and poison ivy (long pants/sleeves recommended)
- Wear comfortable shoes
- Some volunteer spots may require light walking or driving on uneven/off-road terrain
This is such a fun and important role — you’ll be part of the race experience and help make the day run smoothly for everyone involved.
