Who We Are

Love, KK’s mission is to empower local small businesses, farmers, and the people in the community with an entrepreneurial spirit by providing awareness, educational assistance, resources, and learning experiences.

What We Do

Love, KK projects that champion local small businesses and entrepreneurs while spreading love and kindness throughout northern VA:

Farm to Food Pantry: Love, KK partners with Lucketts Community Food Pantry and Cowbell Kitchen to donate produce from local farmers, bread from local bakers, and other goods from local businesses to food-insecure families in Lucketts.

Random Acts of Kindness: Love, KK purchases goods from local small businesses and gifts them to our community members experiencing hardship who need a little extra sunshine in their lives. Love, KK frequently purchases flowers from Far Bungalow Farm, pastries from Cowbell Kitchen, and children's items (toys, books, clothes) from Potomac River Kids.

Scholarships: Love KK funds three scholarships each year. One scholarship is for a graduating high school senior, and two are for GMU study abroad, students.

King Street Collective: Love, KK provides a grant to the King Street Collective to support operational costs. The King Street Collective was established to amplify the voices of women-led, local startups and small enterprises. Rooted deeply in collaboration and unity, our community of budding entrepreneurs seeks to uplift each other. Our mission is to provide the encouragement and resources necessary for these businesses to flourish.
