Overview
UpsideDown Moments is seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and organized individual to manage the communication channels that connect us with the community. The Communications & Outreach Coordinator will support our mission by maintaining our online presence, creating outreach materials, and helping us engage supporters through email and social media.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Develop and schedule engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Monitor engagement and respond to messages/comments promptly.
Track analytics to inform future strategies.
Email Campaigns & Newsletters
Design and send monthly email newsletters using Wix.
Create targeted email campaigns for events, donation drives, or announcements.
Design & Print Materials
Create flyers, postcards, and other promotional materials as needed.
Collaborate with staff to ensure materials align with event goals and branding.
Participation & Collaboration
Attend one UpsideDown Moments event annually to capture content and engage with the community.
Participate in monthly virtual or in-person team meetings to stay aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Experience in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field (professional or volunteer).
Proficiency in Canva, and social media platforms.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Passion for serving youth in foster care and aged-out populations.
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Basic photography or video editing
