Who We Are
UpsideDown Moments is a 501c3 nonprofit, providing charitable services, essential resources, advocacy and programs designed to empower, uplift and create brighter futures for the vulnerable population we serve: children in foster care, at-risk youth, and former fosters in Loudoun County, Virginia, and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to helping youth thrive and succeed despite their challenging circumstances, by meeting critical needs while fostering long-term independence.
What We Do
We work along side of the Department of Family Services, Family Liaisons at local schools, Foster Parents, and the Care Portal.
Our Offerings/Services include:
First Night Bags - items for child's first night away from home
Seasonal Blessings - spring and fall clothing distribution.
Super Saturday Celebrations - parties for children currently residing at the local shelter.
KidzDay - Foster/Adoptive/Kinship families respite care
Vehicle Empowering Hope (VEH) - assists with the challenges of car ownership.
The Next Step - NEW INITIATIVE - Bridging the gap between FYI voucher received through move day.
