On Friday, October 11, volunteers will help load a van with food donations from members of Congregation Beth Emeth at 5 p.m. Then, volunteers will go to the FREE from Hunger Center around 6:15 p.m. to unload all the donations received. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. This is a great opportunity for students to earn school community service hours on a weekday evening! Register to help: Cornerstones volunteer website.

Volunteers should be able to bend and lift up to 25 pounds or more regularly. It is a volunteer’s responsibility to know their limitations and to refrain from activity beyond their abilities. The use of earbuds, headphones, etc. is prohibited in the FREE from Hunger Center warehouse. Volunteers should dress with their duties in mind. Shoes must have covered toes and be non-slip (no Crocs, sandals, flip-flops, etc.). We recommend wearing clothing that you won’t mind getting a bit dirty!
