3 Hours Event Break-Down 10am-1pm
- Break down all rented tables & chairs and prep for pick-up by rental company
- Remove Bistro Lights & pack in assigned containers
- Empty and rinse out all flower vases/jars & load in assigned containers for washing
- Remove all event signs, parking materials
- Pick up any event litter/paper products etc on ground & bag up final garbage & recycling
- Load all rented linens/dishes/glasses/flatware in to assigned vehicle
- Load all garbage/recycling in to assigned vehicle
This is our big annual fund raiser called FEAST IN THE FIELD held on Saturday 25 June. Guests purchase a ticket to attend enjoy a wine & cheese reception, silent auction, sit-down dinner, and live rock music performed by "22 Late". Food is prepared by Chef Erik Foxx of The Polished Foxx (see thepolishedfoxx.com). Produce for the dinner is farm fresh and grown by A Farm Less Ordinary.
NEW ADULT VOLUNTEER 18 years of age and older: PLEASE CLICK HERE! and fill out AFLO's registration form first. Then wait to hear from us. A cleared criminal background check (facilitated by us) MUST be completed for all volunteers before signing up for or attending any of our volunteer events. After you fill out our on-line questionnaire, AFLO will contact you by email to get you started on your background check. We will let you know when you may sign-up for our volunteer events/needs thru this website Loudoun Cares once your background check is received and reviewed.
