Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers works with the elderly and disabled of Loudoun County. These are two groups who have been categorized as vulnerable by the CDC, WHO and other organizations. Due to the current restrictions our Care Receivers are facing, most have been ordered to stay home and wait until it has been deemed safe to go out again. This means many of our senior Care Receivers and Disabled Care Receivers with compromised immune systems cannot leave their homes to shop for necessities like food, prescriptions, toiletries and more.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO REQUIRE A BACKGROUND CHECK FOR ALL OF OUR VOLUNTEERS. This will be done at no cost to you and we will be happy to provide you a copy of the report for your records.
