General Duties:
- Prepare / plan budgets including fundraising targets
- Develop & maintain financial records & reporting including those needed for monthly BoD meetings
- Manage incoming and outgoing funds (i.e. reconcile bank statements)
- Develop & maintain a financial calendar of key filing/reporting dates (i.e. IRS 990) to be reviewed at BoD meetings
- Support fundraising efforts
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with nonprofit financials including fundamental tax filing is a must
- Bookkeeping skills
- Financial report development & interpretation
- QuickBooks or similar experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills regarding documentation and file or record-keeping
- Verbal and visual financial reporting skills
Term: Immediately through December 2024 (next meeting in Oct 2023)
Est. Monthly Hours - 4 hours per month (perhaps more at outset, less anticipated during off season)
Location: Hybrid - In person in Loudoun County for board meetings / virtual as appropriate
