NEST4US is partnering with Montgomery County Volunteer Center at the 2024 Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Day of Service event. We will join thousands of Americans across the country who will be celebrating the national holiday honoring the life and work of Dr. King by doing service in their communities.
Looking for volunteers to pick up donations (Damascus Community Center) & drop them off at various shelters & food banks in the Washington Metro area. Together, let’s brighten the day of families in need with these bags, giving them nourishment. love, and hope!
VOLUNTEER HOURS APPROVAL:
As an IRS approved nonprofit organization, we require volunteers to submit picture proof of the volunteering activity after each event/session in order to approve volunteer hours.
In order to receive credit for volunteering, you can do any of the following:
- If you have a pre-existing volunteer form/document from a school or other organization (Ex. volunteer approval forms, school club forms, volunteer logs, etc.), please email it (pre-filled with volunteering details!) to info@nest4us.org for approval (supervisor signature) or Add the volunteer document on to your Google Drive and provide us access for volunteer approval
