NEST4US is participating in the 2024 Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Day of Service event, where we will join thousands of Americans across the country who will be celebrating the national holiday honoring the life and work of Dr. King by doing service in their communities.
Join us in creating "Notes of Kindness" for Community Heroes, Seniors and our Homeless friends. Together, let's spread some love and kindness!
- Virtual Opportunity: Volunteers please create notes of kindness (All ages welcome) at your own home and drop them off at or mail them to our locations by January 14th, 2024. (30 Notes of Kindness/Hope = 1 hour of Service hours)
- Please find attached sample kindness notes template
- Any note card sizes would work: 3X5 or 4X6

VOLUNTEER HOURS APPROVAL:
As an IRS approved nonprofit organization, we require volunteers to submit picture proof of the volunteering activity after each event/session in order to approve volunteer hours.
In order to receive credit for volunteering, you can do any of the following:

If you have a pre-existing volunteer form/document from a school or other organization (Ex. SSL approval forms, school club forms, volunteer logs, etc.), please email it (pre-filled with volunteering details!) to info@nest4us.org for approval (supervisor signature) or Add the volunteer document on to your Google Drive and provide us access for volunteer approval
