Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls, Employment Committee will host an in-person hiring event for women only on September 10, 2021, at Ida Lee Recreation Center in the Community Room. In a recent survey conducted by the Coalition forty-four percent of respondents cited the need for career counseling and mentorship, so in addition to the hiring event, LCWAG has partnered with local workforce development resource providers to offer online Q&A sessions prior to the event. Topics will include successful job search strategies, hiring event tips, and interview best practices. The goal of the hiring event is to assist women in Loudoun who are seeking employment while simultaneously rebuilding a solid local workforce for our businesses in Loudoun County as we emerge from the impact of the COVID 19 public health pandemic.
