Join the members of Ashburn Volunteer Fire-Rescue May 19 for their annual Spring Open House! There will be lots of fun activities and demonstrations enjoyable for all ages, parents included! Kids can practice calling 9-1-1, learn about water safety, and test their first aid skills at the Booboo Station. Older attendees can watch our volunteers perform physical agility tests, respond to a staged medical emergency, and rescue a victim from a simulated car accident with the “jaws of life.” Bring the whole family out for a day celebrating community, safety, and fun!
