2017 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Awards

Loudoun Cares is currently taking nominations for the Loudoun Cares 2017 Outstanding Volunteers of the Year Awards.

This annual program honors organizations and residents of Loudoun County who donate time and service to their community. We invite you to nominate outstanding individuals who volunteer for your organization and/or who are residents of Loudoun County who have provided distinguished community service in 2016. This is your opportunity to show appreciation to someone deserving of public recognition.

NOMINATION PROCEDURE

1. Those eligible for nominations include individuals or groups whose volunteer services have benefited Loudoun County. You may submit a nomination for an individual person or a team of volunteers to be honored. Honoree(s) must be present at the awards ceremony scheduled for Friday April 28, 2017. The ceremony will be held at West Belmont Place at the National Conference Center in Leesburg, VA from 5:30pm – 8:00pm.
2. Nominations must include a completed application form and a current photo of the nominated person or group. Applications must be typed and printed out. Application packets and forms can be found on our website at www.loudouncares.org
3. Nominations may include up to 4 additional photos of nominated person or group in action and any supporting material, such as press clippings, pamphlets, etc. up to three pages in length.
4. Submission: All Materials Must be Received by COB Wednesday March 15, 2017

IMPORTANT NOTE:

An individual or group may only be nominated for one applicable category. However, a group may be nominated for a group award while a member of that same group may be nominated for an individual award.
