Biologist/Farmer Sam Quinn says that, “Agriculture is a leading threat to biodiversity, yet food production as we know it today depends significantly upon the wild species that it imperils. In the face of a growing body of scientific research and rising public interest in ecologically responsible food production, one of the next major challenges for biologists and farmers is how to more fully integrate meaningful conservation practices in farm businesses.”
