HomeAid National Capital Region's Builders for Babies Diaper Drive is a community-wide donation drive aimed at collecting diapers and wipes for babies and toddlers experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. With rising prices there is now more need than ever for these items and unfortunately, diapers and wipes cannot be purchased using Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). Since 2018, HomeAid has collected over 750,000 diapers and wipes for more than 30 local nonprofits.
We need your help to reach this year’s goal of collecting 250,000 diapers!
Getting involved is easy:
1. Host a donation site. This is a great opportunity for companies, community service groups, schools, churches, etc. to help local families in need. HomeAid will provide the collection boxes, a tool kit with tips for a successful drive, and social media images and wording to help spread the word.
2. Volunteer to count, sort, and deliver diapers at a location in Chantilly between June 21-26.
3. Donate diapers at one of HomeAid's public collection sites or online at https://homeaidncr.org/2024-builder-for-babies-diaper-drive/
