It is our vision to CREATE authentic connections, in partnership with horses:

What We Do
Bridle Paths serves individuals who have challenges that are often invisible – ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety and depression, seizure disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, brain injuries, post-traumatic stress, and trauma. These challenges often stem from racism or sexism, experiences of childhood abuse or neglect, and the judgments of others. We cultivate authentic connections, in partnership with horses, with those who feel isolated, unseen, or different in our community.
We offer a variety of different programs, including the following:
Adaptive Riding offers riding instruction for youth and adults, adapted to their physical, cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) services for individuals, couples, families, and groups are an experiential therapeutic approach addressing treatment goals with a team including an equine specialist, licensed therapist, the horse, and the client.
Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) offers hands-on learning opportunities with our equines for participants to learn about themselves and their relationships. We serve survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI), those with communication challenges, and teens and young adults with depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicidal ideation in this capacity.
Military Services serve the military community, at no cost to them, with Adaptive Riding and EAL sessions, EAP sessions for military families, and group EAP sessions for veterans recovering from combat-related TBI, substance use disorders, military sexual trauma, and moral injury.
