Carz Cruizin to Cure Cancer

In 2011, as part of the celebration for McLean Insurance’s 40th anniversary, and to celebrate the life of our founder, Henry C. Megill, Jr., Jd, CDR, USNR, we decided to do something to give back to the community and help families who are dealing with the loss of a loved one due to cancer.  We began Carz Cruizin to Cure Cancer, a charity, car, truck, and motorcycle show that raises money for cancer research and donates to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  To date we have donated approximately $86,000.

The 3rd Sunday in September, we host a car show through area sponsors.  During the event we have numerous cars, trucks, and bikes on display and offer food, drink, and children activities for the whole family to enjoy with all proceeds going to the Leukemia and lymphoma Society.
