Northern Virginia Conservation Trust

The Northern Virginia Conservation Trust is a regional land trust that helps communities protect natural and working lands, waters, and special places. We sponsor a limited number of volunteer opportunities, but we encourage participation in our Saving Nearby Nature Photo Competition this fall.

The Northern Virginia Conservation Trust works to preserve open space and natural areas in northern Virginia through easements and fee simple acquisitions. NVCT also conducts environmental restoration events on protected properties, including invasive species removal and tree planting.
