Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic

The mission of Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives with hope, strength, and joy. We are dedicated to making every eligible child’s wish come true.  

Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic serves Northern Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and Southern Delaware. We have over 500 volunteers all across our chapter that help to grant the wishes of all of our eligible children. Since our founding in 1983, we have granted over 8,500 wishes. None of this could be possible without the help of our amazing volunteers!
