Who We Are

EquallyAble Foundation is a global non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people with disabilities. Since 1999, we have worked to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity, ensuring that individuals of all abilities can live with dignity, independence, and purpose. Our Core Belief We believe that a disability should never be a barrier to a productive life. Our work is rooted in the conviction that when you provide the right tools—whether it’s a wheelchair, a prosthetic limb, or a vocational scholarship—you aren't just helping an individual; you are strengthening an entire community. Our Impact at a Glance: 25 Years of Service: A quarter-century of global advocacy and direct aid. Global Reach, Local Heart: From providing medical equipment in crisis zones to hosting the Walk4Inclusion right here in Northern Virginia. Empowerment-First Model: We focus on sustainable independence through education, mobility, and employment, rather than just temporary relief. The EquallyAble Community We are a diverse network of volunteers, donors, and advocates—like you—who refuse to accept a world with barriers. Together, we are building a future where everyone is EquallyAble to succeed.

What We Do

Empowering People with Disabilities Worldwide For 25 years, EquallyAble has been dedicated to a single mission: transforming the lives of people with disabilities by providing the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to live with dignity and independence. We believe that disability should never be a barrier to a productive and fulfilling life. Our Three Pillars of Impact: Equipment & Mobility: We provide life-changing assistive devices—from wheelchairs and prosthetic limbs to hearing aids—ensuring that individuals have the physical mobility to navigate their world. Education & Vocational Training: We invest in the future by funding specialized education and skills training, empowering people with disabilities to secure meaningful employment and achieve financial self-reliance. Inclusive Community Building: Through events like the Walk4Inclusion, we advocate for universal accessibility and foster a global community where everyone, regardless of ability, is seen, heard, and valued. Our Global Reach From providing emergency medical aid in crisis zones to supporting local entrepreneurs with disabilities right here in Virginia, EquallyAble bridges the gap between potential and opportunity. When you support us, you aren't just giving a gift—you are restoring a life.
