Vine & Fig Tree is a nonprofit organization that seeks to heal social and economic inequalities. Through consulting with companies, supporting community programs, and training the unemployed and underemployed in job readiness, Vine & Fig seeks to bring Equity, Belonging, and Community to all workplaces.

To accomplish our Mission and live out our Values, we focus on two departments: Vocation and Community.

Vocation is where we develop programs and systems to encourage meaningful workplaces and healthy employees. Community is where we cultivate community partnerships & relationships + promote advocacy and education.

Our Programs:

• Youth Innovators: Through partnerships in Loudoun County, Virginia, Vine and Fig Tree provides training and support for local businesses to become trauma-informed workplaces. These workplaces allow for current and aged-out foster youth to learn valuable hard and soft skills to not only be employed but become integral parts of the community. Vine and Fig Tree also hosts multiple events per year for the youth in the Independent Living program to develop additional life skills. Lastly, Vine and Fig Tree partners with other community organizations and businesses to bring additional resources and mentorship to the youth.
• Common Good: Companies want to impact their community but often are overwhelmed with options and knowing where and how to start. We assist organizations in mobilizing within their ecosystem for the common good. We help cultivate authentic employee and community engagement, from equitable recruiting to organizing and creating relationship-building opportunities. We help engage companies with what’s important within their communities to maximize impact and value: letting the community lead for meaningful change. 
• Flourish: Through national partners, Vine and Fig Tree provides training and education in life design for survivors of Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence. In addition to strategies for career advancement and professionalism, the program also walks through topics such as relationship management, dealing with obstacles, and utilizing personal and professional support systems.
