Who We Are
We provide independent Child Advocates to unaccompanied and separated children by submitting best interests determinations (BIDs) to government officials and by providing safe repatriation support to children returning to their home country.
What We Do
At the young center we train volunteers to act as Volunteer Child Advocates for detained immigrant children. Volunteers meet regularly with a child in detention to form a connection and get to know their story. Volunteers then collaborate directly with attorneys and social workers to determine the best interests of the children and to advocate for those interests.
