Who We Are

Mission: To provide safe, decent, and affordable housing to low- and lower- income families and the elderly in Loudoun and Fauquier Counties and encourage self-improvement and self-sufficiency among our residents.

Windy Hill Foundation supports residents with programs that promote self-sufficiency, including academic support for children, personal enrichment for adults, and health services for seniors. Through community donations, tenant rent, and government support, we invest annually to strengthen our local community, aiming to offer dignity, stability, and the tools for a better future.

What We Do

We provide secure, comfortable, and energy-efficient homes to low-income families, seniors, and those with disabilities. Our properties vary from one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom single-family homes at rental rates that are well below the average in our area. Many of our properties are Federally-subsidized and can only be rented to families who fall under a certain annual income. Windy Hill has 310 units of housing across Loudoun and Fauquier counties.

Windy Hill is not just about affordable housing.

We also provide on-site programs to residents, and partner with local organizations to meet our residents’ needs. Our programs and services enrich our residents’ lives. We help tutor students, provide after-school activities and summer camps as well as social time, dental and medical care and meals for our senior citizen residents.
