Irene’s Prom Closet

Irene’s Prom Closet is an Outreach Program of Kingdom Bliss Ministries. IPC is the legacy of Irene Picota (Maria’s daughter) who passed away unexpectedly during an outpatient surgery. Irene had a giving heart and helped the less fortunate at all times. This year, LCPS Business Partnership Executive Council has selected us as the recipients of the Make a Difference Award among 900 other business that work together with LCPS to make a difference in our community.

We provide LCPS high school students with formalwear to attend their school events, we also provide shoes, accessories, make up, toiletries to them. We also try to provide GC from grocery stores to assist their families cover basic needs when there’s a break from school since they are the free lunch kids mostly and don’t know where they’re next meal will come from. Lastly, we are looking forward to providing educational scholarships to LCPS students to assist with the books costs.
