Volunteer: Volunteer Advocates Needed!The Northern Virginia Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program needs volunteer advocates in Loudoun County who are empathetic, diplomatic, assertive and skilled communicators to: Visit local nursing and assisted living facilities Work to protect resident rights and help to resolve problems Dedicate three to four hours/week for one year Receive on-going training and supportWe will be offering a three-day in-person training in October 2023 for potential volunteers.
