Volunteers provide companionship, caring presence, and assistance with errands in the patient's home, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and in the Blue Ridge Care In-Patient Care Center. Volunteers also provide respite relief for caregivers allowing them much needed time to rest, take a break, or run errands. We also provide companionship through Pet Therapy. Hours are flexible based on the needs of the patient and/or the Primary Caregiver. This is a rewarding volunteer experience through which you will make a direct, positive impact on the life of a Hospice patient in your community. Volunteer with us today!
