Volunteers are needed to assist passengers throughout the airport by providing information about airlines, airport services, area destinations, access to social services, and other information. Using a warm and friendly personality, you can help welcome people to the DC area!

As a new volunteer, you will need to attend an orientation and be able to pass a fingerprint background check, making you eligible to receive an airport badge. There is a training process that can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks, depending on your availability.

Volunteers also have access to other perks, which include our bi-annual Travelers Aid Volunteer Celebrations, free economy lot parking for extended trips, and special events/tours that are promoted by the airport. We are a fun team of people with a passion for helping to aid travelers!

We need volunteers to work alongside our group of 6-8 Special needs adults. Need 3-4 volunteers per day. Assisting with completing activities, doing art therapy, music therapy , yoga, fitness and offering friendship! Our day will be conducted  in a group setting.  

Responsibilities:
• Safely carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs up and down stairs
• Sort and distribute perishable and non-perishable foods
• Perform cleaning and vacuuming tasks to maintain a tidy environment
• Utilize basic computer skills for administrative tasks
• Assist with various duties to support the efficient operation of the food pantry
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills when interacting with fellow volunteers and
community members

Ways Volunteers make a difference as Café Servers

1. Serve meals to Senior Center members & guests Monday through Friday, noon to 12:30 p.m. 

2. Assist with set-up, serving and clean up with volunteer shifts typically running from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

3. Provide meals at the following Loudoun County nutritional sites: Senior Center of Leesburg, Ashburn Senior Center, Dulles South Senior Center, Senior Center at Cascades, Carver Center in Purcellville, Madison House in Leesburg, and William Watters House in Sterling.

4. Be a part of the AAA Nutritional Meal Program that provides county residents with nutritional programs that are social and recreational in nature.

5. Be a part the team that serves one hot meal is served Monday through Friday, with the exception of county holidays and other closings. Each meal meets the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) guideline, set by federal law, and the Nutritional Meal Program complies with state and local laws regarding safety and food handling.

What you need to volunteer as a Café Server:

Volunteers must complete all training sessions prior to assuming responsibilities. Food service volunteers also must be able to stand for extended periods of time and may be required to lift up to 10 pounds.

They must be at least 18 years old to serve food.

The Linear Parks and Trails team is leading Second Saturdays, an ongoing volunteer opportunity to learn about trail building and maintenance and make a difference in the community!

We will use hand tools like loppers, clippers, handsaws, hedge trimmers, and shovels to clean and maintain trail segments, remove invasive species, install signage and a variety of other projects.

Each month will vary depending on program needs. You can expect to walk at least a mile, see wildlife, get sweaty and strong, learn, and hang out with fun people,

The Home Delivered Meals Program is looking for volunteers to deliver a weekday noontime hot nutritious meal and a friendly smile to seniors confined to their homes. If you want to make a difference in a child’s life, we need YOU! Our volunteers assist students in grades 1-6 with school assignments and other academics, including reading, writing, and math. Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic and virtual school, there are unprecedented levels of demand for educational tutoring assistance. Most of our students do not speak English at home and are at heightened risk of falling below their grade level.

We know from 28+ years that the power of our volunteer-driven program makes a real and lasting difference in our student’s lives by setting them up for success in high school and beyond. As a Vecinos Unidos Volunteer, you can be a part of that journey.

Our organization is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year! Commitment is desired one day a week for a fall or spring semester. Legacy Farms maintains a working board of directors to provide quarterly review, feedback, and guidance to the organization. In addition, each member takes a leadership role in their field of expertise to ensure that initiatives are fulfilled in between quarterly meetings. 

Legacy Farms is seeking board members with an interest in leading initiatives for effective Fundraising and Community Networking. 

This includes seeking out community leaders interested in supporting Legacy Farms’ mission, developing and maintaining good relationships with contacts, seeking corporate sponsorships, and working with the Executive Director to pursue grant funding. It may also include fundraising event coordination, either online or in person, depending on the Board Member’s availability and areas of interest and enthusiasm. 

Legacy Farms holds board meetings four times a year, usually on a Saturday or Sunday of the following months (unless otherwise scheduled): June, September, December, March. Board meetings last approximately two hours to provide oversight and review of progress, solve organizational challenges, set or revise goals, and hear about subcommittee progress and needs. 

About Legacy Farms: Legacy Farms is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, established in 2012. We offer apprenticeship-style learning and job opportunities in a neurodiverse community of individuals preparing for college, learning a trade, or seeking internships to further their education.

How We Fulfill Our Mission Apprentices are hired for eight-week paid contract positions to perform essential tasks in the gardens and on landscaping assignments. Mentors serve as coaches, providing guidance on job skills, teamwork, social awareness, and self-advocacy. Apprentices may also be hired for special projects that develop their talents and benefit the organization’s objectives, including assignments for design, writing, videography for social media, distributor relationship development, event/project coordination, etc. 

We partner with Lightfoot Restaurant, Roots to Rise, Weird Brothers, Simply Be and other local businesses to deliver specialty-cut flowers. And we work closely with selected business partners to develop job placement options. We also partner with The New Ag School, PosAbilities Academy, Embark Center to develop innovative programming and expanded learning opportunities.

Legacy Farms is a small non-profit with an educational garden at Temple Hall Regional Park and Fabbioli Cellars, just outside of Leesburg. Our neurodiverse team of staff, mentors, and apprentices grows and delivers specialty-cut flowers to area businesses and food pantries. This specific role will work with apprentices in the garden on-site to develop work training skills and job experience.

Do you have a background in special education, social work, therapies, OR do you have experience in gardening and a desire to support neurodivergent individuals? Are you available to work outside 7-14 hours per week, coaching up to four neurodivergent apprentices seeking to develop their job skills, self-awareness, and ability to self-advocate in future employment positions?

Growing Together, our mentor/apprentice program, is focused on job skills training, mentoring, and facilitating increased personal development for neurodivergent individuals ages 16+. Our core clientele includes neurodivergent individuals with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, and anxiety – neurotypes that vary from perceived norms and affect an individual’s ability to achieve employment and independence in the current job market.

We hire mentors for a variety of job contracts, structured around a clearly designed 7-step framework. Mentors provide job coaching for neurodivergent individuals to introduce work skills, help develop personal awareness, and address specific challenges each individual has experienced in getting and keeping a job.

This is an opportunity to give back to your community while increasing your skills in working with neurodiverse individuals and enjoying a calm garden environment. You do not need gardening experience! You do need patience, calm communication skills, and understanding of the executive function, self-regulation, and self-awareness challenges and gifts associated with neurodiversity. We prioritize a mindful, relationally based work environment where communication is key to learning and self-development. We welcome challenges and setbacks as learning opportunities. We believe that a balanced, well-regulated nervous system is the first step in increasing executive function, organizational, and emotional regulation on the job.

During the Spring and Fall we receive many requests to share our shelter with Girl Scout and Boy Scout groups. We are looking for a volunteer who will help coordinate these efforts and meet the groups at the shelter for a quick educational session and a tour of the catteries. We currently have  a volunteer in place who will help with training and hand off of the program. On-site meet-ups with the groups can be shared with other volunteers if you are interested in building a small support team of volunteers who may be able to help.

The Ladies Board of Inova Loudoun Hospital welcomes volunteers from the community to join us in support of the Riverside Gift Shop at Inova Loudoun Hospital, located at 44045 Riverside Parkway in Leesburg. Are you someone who enjoys interacting with the public? If so, we have an immediate need for volunteers to staff the front register. The shop carries everything from women’s wear, lotions, fragrances, home décor and seasonal items all artfully displayed. And of course, we sell floral arrangements, balloons and baby gifts for those visiting patients at the hospital. There are light bagging duties associated with work at the front register and requisite flu and other vaccinations associated with volunteering in a hospital.

Do you LOVE to garden but have little space to do so?  Would you like to make an impact in your local community and share your passion with others? Then this opportunity may be for you. Second Star Farm and Wildlife Habitat is seeking an experienced gardener (or team of gardeners) to help lead and maintain an organic vegetable and herb garden during the 2026 growing season.  Our farm would provide a stipend for site prep and seeds, and would help the lead gardener (that's you!) turn a small plot of the property into a community garden. While the lead gardener/s would be the primary individual/s responsible for maintenance of this garden, volunteers are available on a pre-arranged basis to help with garden care and harvest. The head gardener (or gardeners if you have a friend/associate/partner interested in sharing this project) would receive up to 50% of the produce while the remaining harvest would be donated to the Dulles South Food Pantry and other community members in need.   

We are also seeking individuals who can support youth-oriented workshops on gardening, pollination, and the impacts of agriculture (both good and bad) on local ecosystems. Minimal time commitments are needed for these workshops, which are organized on an ad hoc basis, typically lasting only 1-2 hours over a pre-scheduled weekend.

Tuesday’s Children is actively recruiting volunteer adult mentors for our youth mentoring program, established exclusively for children and siblings of fallen military service members. This custom-designed program fills the gaps in services offered to families of the fallen with children 6-18 years old. Mentors can offer advice, share life experiences, help a young person navigate challenges, and have fun! So many mentors share that their mentoring relationship changed their life for the better, just as much as they changed the life of a child.

Volunteers are recruited, screened, trained, and managed/supervised by professional staff to safeguard that every adult is committed and qualified to play an active role in the healing of a child. Matches between a mentor and a child are made based on common interests, personality traits and similar schedules and intended to last a year or longer.

Gum Spring Library needs volunteer tutors to help teach English to adult members of our community.

The volunteer will be responsible for encouraging conversation and providing lessons for each meeting with their student. Teachers and students are expected to meet once a week over an eight week period.

A background in English as a Second Language education is helpful, but not required. Speaking an additional language besides English is likewise not required. Teaching materials and resources will be provided.

Garden volunteers at Dodona Manor play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of the gardens. They assist in various tasks such as planting, weeding, watering, pruning, and general garden maintenance. Garden volunteers also help with seasonal tasks like mulching, composting, and preparing the gardens for events and visitors. Their efforts contribute to the overall preservation of Dodona Manor's historic gardens.

We need an experieced grant writer to assist ABFA in applyiong for grants.

Tree of Life Ministries offers free, weekly dinners to anyone who would benefit along with the opportunity for fellowship and prayer. Volunteers, both individuals and groups, provide the meal and serve it to the Sterling community and the Leesburg community.

Tree of Life's Leesburg ESOL team is in need of a leader and teachers for our weekly Tuesday night English Classes. These classes are free to the public! The leader helps organize materials for the classes, steps in a substitute as needed, and is available before and after class for questions. Teachers each lead one class over the course of the academic year.

We are looking for a volunteer to assist in the View of Heaven Farm bakery.  You would work with special needs adults helping them learn how to prep, prepare and bake recipes.  Worker must follow specific rules and you would be helping them to follow those rules.  In addition, workers are learning what it means to have a job and to work with others.

Share your skills as an educator to inspire awe and wonder for Bald Eagles and other wildlife by presenting classroom chat sessions to students.  These sessions are reserved by teachers in advance and take place online weekday mornings and early afternoons from February to June.  Complete an Eagle Cam Volunteer Application and include your experience as an educator to be considered for this program.  We provide the eagle knowledge while you provide the skills to engage students!  Read more about classroom chats here.

Loudoun County Public Library needs volunteers to help adult English learners in our community with our weekly Online English Practice on Mondays at 2 p.m.

The volunteer will be responsible for assisting the primary Facilitator with encouraging English conversation and leading students through language exercises. The exercises will be provided.

Bridle Paths is looking for volunteers to help before, during, and after adaptive riding lessons to ensure client safety and help keep sessions on time and track.

Experience working with horses is not required. We train each volunteer to work with horses and riders in a therapeutic context. Younger volunteers partner with older, more experienced volunteers to help with horse and barn care and preparing horses for lessons.

Duties include: 

Volunteers must complete an application and participate in a barn visit before signing up to be added to the schedule. Interested volunteers will learn about the duties involved and determine fit for the tasks we need help with during their barn visit.

UpsideDown Moments is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with picking up larger clothing and furniture donations from our generous donors. As a Transporter/Driver, you will:

    •    Coordinate with donors to schedule pickups

Come help us have a good time! Insight Memory Care Center (IMCC) is looking for volunteers to help assist with a variety of fun, therapeutic activities for people in the early stages of dementia. Assist program staff with activities such as brain games, art, and outdoor walks, encouraging and supporting the group members to participate, assist with serving and cleaning up coffee/lunch, etc. Volunteers strictly help with recreational activities, and do not assist with personal care. 

This program meets Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00am-3:00pm. Volunteers shall commit to volunteer at least four (4) hours each week for at least six (6) months on a consistent schedule. 

Volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation that includes an overview of neurodegenerative diseases, common behaviors, communication techniques, and person-centered care. A negative TB test within 30 days of your volunteer start date and consent to a criminal background check is required.

This orientation is specific to those volunteers who want to volunteer at the Lab during Field Trips during the week (Monday-Friday) and want to work directly with children and staff, creating great experiences for them. If this describes you, there are a few requirements you must meet:

- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You will be required to undergo a background check, at our expense.
- You must commit to volunteering with the Children’s Science Center for 10 hours in your first year (4 field trips).

Field trip volunteer orientation is designed to equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills needed to support students during their visit. The orientation consists of two main parts:

Presentation in the Garage: Volunteers will start by gathering in the garage for a presentation. During this session, they will learn about the organization's mission, history, and overall goals. This portion aims to provide a solid understanding of the organization's background and the context in which they will be working.

Field Trip Experience: The second part of the orientation involves an actual field trip experience. Volunteers will be assigned to groups of students and will rotate through various experience areas within the lab. This hands-on session helps volunteers become familiar with the different stations and activities that students will engage in, ensuring they are well-prepared to guide and assist throughout the field trip.

Overall, the orientation is designed to blend informative learning with practical experience, ensuring that volunteers are both knowledgeable and comfortable in their roles.

Field Trips are in the mornings Monday-Friday at the Children's Science Center Lab during the school year, except for some school holidays.

The volunteer shift is 2.5 hours, either from 9:30am-12:00pm, or 10:00am-12:30pm. 

Field Trips are for Elementary Schools.

If you are not willing or able to meet these requirements, we would still love to have you volunteer in other roles at the Science Center. You can assist in behind-the-scenes preparation and stocking, community events like Family Science Nights, and some special events. If you wish to volunteer in these support roles and not as a field trip volunteer, you do not need to attend an in-person orientation. Instead, you can sign up immediately for any opportunity on the volunteer portal, as long as you meet the eligibility requirements as listed in the opportunity description.

Loudoun County Fire-Rescue is looking for persons who want to provide medical care in our community as emergency first responders. We provide you the training and experience - you provide the passion.   

Training is intensive, 1 year and we ask for at least a two-year commitment.  But in a year from now you could be a Nationally registered EMT.  Take advantage of our offer to provide you free training and experience and we'll utilize your enthusiasm to emergency response.  All applicants must pass a background check and a physical that we provide at no cost to you.   Loudoun County has multiple EMS station in the community.  We'll find you a station close to your home so you can give back directly to your neighbors. 

Volunteers must be 18 years old to sit for the test but can affiliate at the age of 16.  We have 1 station in Eastern and Western Loudoun that accepts 14 -18 year olds as EMS Explorers.

This person would be responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring partnerships and sponsorships for LBHN with businesses, non-businesses, and corporations. They will also need to identify potential community partners, schedule events in collaboration with the Events Coordinator, actively seek and research grant opportunities, write grants and letters, gather documentation, and submit grant applications. Additionally, they need to keep track of the grants submitted and their status, and keep the board updated on grant status. Finally, they are responsible for writing grant thank-you notes.

Coordinate fundraisers and pink events with businesses, non-businesses, community groups, and individual donors. This person also needs to ensure that there is an LBHN board member designated as a point person for each event. Would be responsible for tasks such as obtaining tables, banners, signs, giveaways, handling raffles, accepting donations, taking photos, making brief presentations, and providing write-ups to the Marketing Committee. Additionally, the Event Committee Chair needs to create and maintain an events calendar, inform the Marketing Committee of any campaigns or events for social media coverage, schedule meetings with school groups, order supplies, and write thank you letters to recognize donations.

Volunteers may choose one or both areas of Twice is Nice operations.  First, those enjoying interaction with the public are welcome to volunteer for front register duties.  Volunteers will be ringing up sales from various departments such as our Men’s, Women’s and Children’s clothing, housewares, books, China, crystal, jewelry and more.  There are light bagging and packing duties associated with work at the front register.  Second, we are in need of volunteers to work in the backroom where all the incredible donations from our community arrive.  Duties include helping to unload the donations, sorting and pricing the items received and arranging these treasures onto the sales floor.  Light lifting of donated items and boxing items for storage may be involved 

Share your musical (or other) talent with our friendly group of individuals who have early-stage dementia! Our Reconnections Sterling participants enjoy musical entertainment such as piano, guitar, and violin music - particularly with an engaging performer who plays popular, nonreligious music from the 1950s-1970s. This could be an individual musician or a very small ensemble. The group also enjoys people who share other skills or special experiences, such as science experiments, animal therapy, or laughter yoga! Ideally the volunteer would come monthly for up to 1 hour during our program time on a Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri.  

MVLE is a day program for adults with disabilities. The Dance Instructor Volunteer will lead a group of adults with disabilities in various movement based activities such as Just Dance, Zumba or other dances. We ask that you be mindful of the physical ability of the group you will be leading. The activities will be held for approximately 30-60 minutes at a time. You may volunteer to take up as many shifts as you would like between Monday-Friday during the hours of 9:00AM-2:00PM EST. There is no evening or weekend availability for this opportunity.

MVLE is a day program for adults with disabilities. The Exercise Instructor Volunteer will lead a group of adults with disabilities in an exercise program. The program can include various styles of exercises such as Zumba, Yoga, Walking etc. We ask that you be mindful of the physical ability of the group you will be leading. The Foster Youth we serve through the Department of Health and Human Services are in need of laptops (not Chromebooks) to further their ability to apply for jobs and internships, take certification and educational courses, apply to colleges, and have greater access to resources. 

If you - or your organization - are interested in donating new or used laptops to Vine and Fig Tree, please email our Director of Community Development, Jen Pool, at jpool@vandft.org. We will coordinate a time to pick-up the laptop(s) from you at your location, or at a location of your choosing.

If you're an individual, we'll gladly wipe and reset the laptop for you. If you're an organization that is aging out your laptops from your employees, please let us know as this is a great way to invest back into your local community and lighten the storage load of your IT department.

Women Giving Back provides clothing to women in crisis, and their children, at no cost. We need help in the store and warehouse. Please sign up on our volunteer platform.  All new volunteers need to watch a 1/2 hour video and answer a quiz to be approved to sign up.

Through conversations with donation sites,  donors and others, it was clear there was a need and a desire for these services.  With each passing year, the list of accepted items expanded.  Today, we serve over 500 communities in over 40 states -- 150+ here in Virginia alone.  With a conservative estimate of over 700 tons diverted in 2022, we are just getting started and see enormous opportunity to further our impact.

Role: Coordinate the collection of donated pumpkins, gourds, hay bales, and other items for your neighborhood, school, office, place of worship, etc.

Tail Wags & Book Bags is a nonprofit seeking a part-time volunteer who can assist with marketing. We need assistance with publication design and an e-newsletter.  This can be done remotely and has very flexible hours.  Proficiency with Adobe Suite is necessary.

We are a 501(c)3 that provides service dogs to schools to assist students with learning
challenges such as reading and writing delays, speech and language, executive function, fine motor and ADHD. We are located in Ashburn, VA and serve the Metro DC area.

During Feline Friend Shifts, volunteers are asked to assist with ongoing housekeeping, enrichment. If looking for tasks, volunteers may consult the staff member assigned to the Cat Adopt kennels or the board in the volunteer office.  

Afternoon volunteers may be asked to help with feeding and evening rounds. 

All volunteers are expected to take part in ongoing shelter needs (such as laundry and dishes) or other tasks as requested by staff.

You have the opportunity to join a group of dedicated students as we tackle issues facing our community! 

PASTA operates in chapters of 4-6 students who work together to meet our mission: kids helping kids in our community.  We do this through project-based volunteering where you use your interest/passions to help other kids in Loudoun County. Projects have ranged from providing STEM classes at afterschool programs, giving guitar lessons, putting together passion kits that explore their love of watercolor, teaching kids about managing emotions, planning Secret Santa events...and so much more.

As a PASTA member, you'll have the opportunity to participate in leadership positions, develop skills related to project management and budgeting, and use empathy to help your community. All new chapters receive guidance from a mentor and PASTA's Board of Directors. 

PASTA members typically report spending 3-6 hours per month planning their PASTA projects, and 8-12 hours per year executing their innovative projects. 

Eligibility: All kids in 6th - 10th grade are eligible to start a chapter. We accept chapters from anywhere around the world, but our hub is Loudoun County, Virginia.

Veterans Moving Forward is seeking an Administrative Assistant Volunteer to support our Director of Programs, in our Dulles training center, for 2-3 hours per day, 2-3 days per week.

Do you like keeping things organized?  Are you a multi-tasker at heart?  Do you love being around dogs? If you said “Yes” to each of these questions, we have an ideal opportunity where you can assist Veterans Moving Forward with our mission of providing service dogs, facility dogs, and emotional support dogs to veterans with physical and/or mental health challenges at no cost to the veteran or their family.

This position will assist in managing phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication by ensuring prompt and professional responses are provided, and will handle other administrative tasks as needed.

Tail Wags & Book Bags is a nonprofit seeking a part-time volunteer who can assist with fundraising. We need assistance with donor communications, grant searching, and our annual campaign.  This can be done remotely and has very flexible hours.  Familiarity with donor management software would be helpful but is not a necessity.

The Salvation Army of Loudoun's Thrift Store is a wonderful place for groups to volunteer!  Groups can accomplish so much for us.  Our Thrift Store sales support the work we do to address emergencies.  We assist needy Loudoun residents with rent and utility assistance.  So many people are facing disconnections and evictions.  YOU are making so much possible for those in need!!

We are looking for volunteers with business, management, and human resources experience to serve as Hire Autism Navigators and help autistic adults refine their resumes and cover letters and prepare for job interviews.

The expected volunteer commitment is 1-2 hours per week for three months. Familiarity with autism is a plus, but it is not a prerequisite. Volunteers must complete our Navigator training and successfully pass a background check before being eligible to begin working with a Hire Autism job seeker. 

The ideal volunteer will have a record of success in their professional career, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a commitment to Hire Autism’s mission, and the desire to serve as a positive role model.

Love to sing in a choir, teens and adults wanted for non-professional volunteer parish choirs.

If you are English speaking the worship music is a mix of traditional and contemporary, rehearsals 1-2 Saturdays/month (11am) and 30 minutes before services (9:30am on Sundays) at the Belmont Ridge Middle School cafeteria in Lansdowne. 

If you are Spanish speaking the worship music is contemporary Latino hymnody, rehearsals 2 Friday's month (6:30pm) and 30 minutes before service (2:30pm) at St. James' Episcopal Church in Leesburg.

Volunteer teachers and assistant teachers on Sundays (either 10am service or 3pm service). The volunteers work under the youth minister and vicar's supervision. A wonderful curriculum with lesson plans is provided for every Sunday of the year. Volunteers ages 15 to adult are welcome to apply. A background check is required and so is a mandatory safe church training.

We invite any in the community to share their interesting and unique passions by helping us make passion kits.  

Making a kit is easy!

1. Choose a unique activity for your kit. (i.e. origami, magic, calligraphy, sewing) This should be something you are passionate about sharing with others!
2. Assemble your kit with enough supplies for 1 kid to do the activity. Use a ziploc/baggie to package your kit.
3. Add simple instructions to each bag and/or video links

We will take your activity bags and combine them with others to form our Passion Kits, which will include a variety of activities for kids to enjoy. These kits will be delivered to doffering community partners!

Need a volunteer to assist with project planning and carrying out and keeping track of various initiatives

Developing weekly agendas and moderating meetings

Need a dedicated/committed social media volunteer with experience to assist with fundraising and different campaigns. 

If a bioterrorism event or epidemic requires it, the Loudoun County Health Department is preparing for the possibility of opening emergency mass vaccination and medication dispensing clinics in select locations throughout the county. Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) volunteers, both nonmedical and medical, would be key to staffing these sites. Nonmedical volunteers would perform key clinic roles such as registration, data entry, language translation, medical personnel assistance, and directing foot traffic.

MRC members can also assist with other public health responses in our community and have the opportunity to be trained in CPR and first aid if they so desire.
