Volunteers and riders are needed for ECHO's second annual Tour de ECHO on September 15.
The Tour de Echo is a biking fundraiser taking place along the W&OD Trail and at Bike TrAle Brewing in Leesburg to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their optimal level of personal, social and economic success. This year the event will offer a longer ride for those interested. Rides will include the Family Fun Route 5-miler, the Challenge Route 10-miler, the Trail Challenge 21-miler, and the Metric Century 63-miler, all along the scenic W&OD Trail.
We are seeking help with set up, registration, rest stops, lunch and break down.
All of the proceeds from the event will be used to improve the nonprofit’s services and programs they provide to their participants. Sponsorships range from $7,500 at the upper end to in-kind contributions at the lower end, with many benefits. Every $1,000 supports one month of tuition for the future ECHO Training Academy that will teach participants the skills necessary to obtain long-term employment in the community.
