On October 26, a community launch event will be hosted at South Lakes High School to introduce Reston as Fairfax County’s next Opportunity Neighborhood. Join neighbors and partners to learn more about the initiative and how you can get involved to support our children and youth and ensure their success from cradle to career. The event is free and open to all. Refreshments and childcare will be provided.
Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:
- Set up (5pm-7pm)
- Clean up (8:30pm-9:30pm)
- Registration Table (6:30pm-9pm)
- Food Servers (6:30pm-9pm)
- Information Station Support (6:30pm-9pm)
- Homework Help/Kids Activities (6:30pm-9pm)
