Hours/duties are flexible according to interests and availability. Background check required for leading children's programs.
We seek volunteers to serve as
1) "on-call" educators for when we hold family events or when kids groups (school trips, scouts) come to Fox Haven
2) natural interpreters leading nature walks on Fox Haven land--guiding educational hikes, 1 hour long, geared toward an area of interest/expertise (e.g. birdwatching, plant identification, forays, stargazing)--may also instruct longer evening/weekend programs
