Purcellville Library needs volunteer tutors to help teach English to adult members of our community.
The volunteer will be responsible for encouraging conversation and providing lessons for each meeting with their student. Teachers and students are expected to meet once a week over an eight week period.
A background in English as a Second Language education is helpful, but not required. Speaking an additional language besides English is likewise not required. Teaching materials and resources will be provided.
*Some branches also offer online tutoring. Please indicate whether or not you would be willing to tutor online.
**Many branches need volunteers! If you would prefer to volunteer at a different branch or one of our outreach locations, please indicate where you'd like to volunteer in your response.
