Hattingh Equine Rescue & Rehab Inc. is seeking a passionate volunteer who loves horses and wants to make a real difference in their lives! We are looking for a Thrift Store Coordinator / Operator to help us launch and manage a Thrift Store to support our rescued horses. This is a unique opportunity to build something meaningful that directly funds horse rescue, rehabilitation, and care.
Responsibilities would include:
• Set up and organize the thrift store
• Develop donation intake and pricing
• Merchandise and display items in an appealing way
• Promote sales through social media
• Help turn donated items into ongoing funding for the rescue
Ideal Candidate:
• Is at least 18 years old, loves horses, and believes in rescue work
• Has retail experience
• Has fundraising skills or sales experience
• Is organized, creative, and self-motivated
• Enjoys building something new from the ground up
• Social media or marketing experience is a bonus
