In the interest of healing, The Artistic Fuel Foundation (501 (c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization, has set a goal to raise a minimum of $100,000 for the creation of an arts therapy program for Uvalde, Texas.
We have organized an outdoor screening on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 from 6:00 – 10:00 PM at Ida Lee Park in Leesburg, VA. featuring the critically acclaimed film, MASS, written and directed by Fran Kranz.
Prior to the screening will be a panel discussion moderated by Cynthia Young of the American Art Therapy Association with speakers, Dr. E. Scott Gellar, Alumni Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Virginia Tech and creator of the concept of “Active Caring”, Raquel Farrel-Kirk, who worked as an art therapist supporting the Parkland, Florida community, as well as producers of the film, MASS, Dylan Matlock and JP Ouellette.
Join us from 6:00-7:15 PM for a variety of art wellness activities for children and adults, live music and food trucks.
