Needs From: Loudoun Cares

Special Olympics runs on volunteerism and we need you!  A number of our sports need more volunteers to assist athletes in learning new sports and having fun in the process!  Sports are essential to those with special needs as it increases their strength, coordination, social ability and health.  Please consider coming out to our sports; you won't regret it!  We have amazing athletes in Loudoun County!  Please email volunteers@sovaloudoun.org to get more information and get signed up or visit our website at sovaloudoun.org

The snow is finally thawing and spring is on its way!  Our spring sports are starting in a couple of weeks and we need some great volunteers and coaches to assist our athletes and coaches in learning new sports skills!  Below is the volunteer signup.  After you have completed this, please sign up for our sports in our signup genius or email volunteers@sovaloudoun.org for any further information.  

In order to register as a volunteer, please go to the link below and complete the volunteer form and waiver.  If you are over 18, you will also have to complete the background check and Protective Behavior training.  If you want to become a coach, please complete the above requirements and email Amy at volunteers@sovaloudoun.org.

Special Olympics Loudoun is looking to expand programs in the area but have a great need for sports coaches.  Please consider getting involved with Special Olympics.
