MVLE is a day program for adults with disabilities. The Dance Instructor Volunteer will lead a group of adults with disabilities in various movement based activities such as Just Dance, Zumba or other dances. We ask that you be mindful of the physical ability of the group you will be leading. The activities will be held for approximately 30-60 minutes at a time. You may volunteer to take up as many shifts as you would like between Monday-Friday during the hours of 9:00AM-2:00PM EST. There is no evening or weekend availability for this opportunity.

MVLE is a day program for adults with disabilities. The Exercise Instructor Volunteer will lead a group of adults with disabilities in an exercise program. The program can include various styles of exercises such as Zumba, Yoga, Walking etc. We ask that you be mindful of the physical ability of the group you will be leading. The Music Instructor Volunteer will teach a group of individuals about different types of musical instruments, styles of music and may also share their own musical talents with the group. The activities will be held for approximately 30-60 minutes at a time. Volunteers are needed between Monday-Friday during the hours of 9:00AM-2:00PM EST. There is no evening or weekend availability for this opportunity.

The Social Volunteer will lead lunchtimes socializing with a single individual or a group of individuals while talking about various topics of interest. Volunteers are needed between Monday-Friday during our lunch period 11:00-1:00 PM EST. There is no weekend availability for this opportunity.

MVLE is a day program for adults with disabilities. The Art Class Instructor Volunteer will work with groups of individuals to teach them art. This can range from paintings and drawings to doing different artistic crafts. We ask that your program is age appropriate for our adult individuals while also being mindful of their abilities and capacity. Volunteers are needed between Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00AM-2:00PM EST. There is no evening or weekend availability for this opportunity.

At MVLE, our mission is to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to find their independence through community-based social activities, supported employment, and customized skills training. We are in need of a volunteer receptionist to run the front desk throughout the work week. Our goal is to create a team of volunteers that can cover our business hours of 8:00am-4:00pm from Monday to Friday.
In this position you will be involved in answering phone calls, welcoming guests and volunteers in the front door, and helping with administrative tasks. You will also work alongside some of our individuals that are training to develop business skills through learning tasks associated with being a receptionist.
