Join us at our Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Day of Service Nourish2Flourish event, a zero-hunger initiative where we will be packing and providing grocery bags for people facing food insecurity. Let’s brighten the day of families in need with these bags, giving them nourishment and hope! We will join thousands of Americans across the country who will be celebrating the national holiday honoring the life and work of Dr. King by doing service in their communities.
GUIDELINES:
All volunteers are REQUIRED to follow all the guidelines below to participate in this event:
- All volunteers are required to sign a liability waiver & photo release form: https://rb.gy/xyqvr4
- Parents of youth volunteers are asked to drop off/pick up their kids PROMPTLY at the specified times.
VOLUNTEER HOURS:
- Volunteers assembling grocery bags will be receiving 1.5 hours of community service (ONLY the volunteers who have signed up to assemble grocery bags are allowed inside the facility)
- We will also provide 1 hour for donations (X number of slots = X number of hours, such as 1 slot = 1 hour)
Those who have signed up to donate items, please drop them off before January 13th, 2023!
