Join the NEST4US Founders, Shreyaa & Esha Venkat, in celebrating their birthdays by fighting food insecurity at their “Rice Up Against Hunger” event to benefit low-income families. Let’s brighten the day of families in need with these bags, giving them nourishment and hope!
COVID GUIDELINES:
All volunteers are REQUIRED to follow all the guidelines below to participate in this event:
- All volunteers are required to wear masks and gloves at ALL times!
- The temperatures of each volunteer will be checked before starting the event.
- There is no access to restrooms or water fountains at the location. Please feel free to bring your own water bottle.
- All volunteers are required to sign a liability waiver & photo release form - please complete this quick online form: https://rb.gy/xyqvr4
- Due to social distancing regulations, parents of youth volunteers are asked to drop off /pick up their kids PROMPTLY at the specified times.
VOLUNTEER HOURS:
- Volunteers assembling rice bags will be receiving 1.5 hours of community service (ONLY the volunteers who have signed up to assemble rice bags are allowed inside the facility)
- We will also provide 1 hour for rice/bean bag donations (X number of rice bags = X number of hours, such as 1 slot = 1 hour)
Those who have signed up to donate items, please drop them off by September 30th!
