NEST4US will be hosting a Sandwich Assembly Project to benefit the homeless community and low-income families in the Washington Metro area. Every sandwich helps feed our neighbors in need!!!
COVID GUIDELINES:
All volunteers are REQUIRED to follow all the guidelines below to participate in this project:
- Due to social distancing regulations, parents of youth are asked to drop off/pick up their kids PROMPTLY at the specified times.
- All volunteers are required to wear masks and gloves at ALL times!
- The temperatures of volunteers will be checked before the project.
- There is no access to restrooms or water fountains at the location. Please feel free to bring your own water bottle.
- All volunteers are required to sign a liability waiver & photo release form: https://rb.gy/xyqvr4
VOLUNTEER HOURS:
- Volunteers assembling sandwich bags will be receiving 1.5 hours of community service (ONLY the volunteers who had signed up to assemble sandwich bags are allowed inside the facility)
- We will also provide 30 minutes for donation items (X number of items = X number of hours, such as 1 slot = 30 minutes)
Those who have signed up to donate food items, please drop it off before March 5th. *Please contact the respective volunteer leads to coordinate donation drop off*. *Drop off ALL perishable items ONLY on March 5th*
