Thanksgiving is a time where we can reflect on life and appreciate all that we have: family, friends, a meal, a home, and much more! There are a lot of people, especially in Washington DC, who unfortunately do not have these things and could really use our help, especially during the holiday season. Join us in the sandwich assembly project to help our homeless friends living in the streets of Franklin Square Park, at the Central Union Mission & Georgetown Ministry Center. All age groups are welcome to participate! Every Sandwich helps feed our neighbors in need!!!
*Plan: Make Sandwiches, Drop off bagged sandwiches along with fruits, granola bars & note of encouragement.
