NAMI Northern Virginia is thrilled to announce our spring production of This is My Brave (TIMB) taking place on April 5, 2018. This is My Brave is a community-based event, where individuals share their true story of living with mental illness through original song, dance, poetry, comedy, or personal essay.

NAMI Northern Virginia invites you to audition to be a part of This is My Brave, an exciting and powerful show that will raise awareness about mental health and inspire hope in our community in April 2018.
What to Prepare
Presenters should prepare a 5 minute original creative piece that focuses on their recovery. These presentations can take almost any creative form, such as song, dance, comedy, original poetry, personal essay, storytelling, etc.

What to Bring
Please plan to bring any props/items you will need to perform. (i.e. musical instruments, music player, written essay, etc.)
Time Commitment
Presenters will be required to attend three rehearsals in February/March and the performance on April 5, 2018.
