The Backpack Buddies program at Galilee Church in Sterling, Virginia serves 400 children at 6 local public schools with weekend and holiday meal packs.
On Saturday, November 11, the team will be working with two local Cub Scout Packs and will be sorting food donations for the program.
Volunteers are needed at both Hillside Elementary in Ashburn (in the morning) and at Galilee Church in Sterling (in the afternoon) to sort food donations.
This volunteer activity is appropriate for volunteers age 12 and older.
