The American Diabetes Association is partnering up with the Washington Redskins to host its Game On, Greater Washington event at FedExField, on October 22, 2016. Game On, Greater Washington is a one-of-a-kind activity-filled community festival and fundraising event expected to attract 20,000 participants. Fundraising teams, can choose from 4 different cycling distances, a 5k walk, 5k timed run, and even rappelling! To run such a large scale event the ADA is in need of over 300 volunteers.
Volunteer duties range from set up, clean up, greeters, registration, route markers, food servers, bike marshals, SAG drivers, cheerleaders( perfect for kids and boy/girls scouts), crossing gaurds, rest stop/ water stop, first aid and more!
