Who We Are
We are individuals who live with a mental health condition and family members and friends. Together we offer support, education and advocacy to our community from the perspective of people who have “been there.” Our NAMI-trained peer and family-member facilitators create safe and welcoming spaces for people to find support and hope.
What We Do
NAMI Northern Virginia provides a wide array of education and support programs and events for individuals living with a mental health condition and family members and friends. Our community advocacy efforts help improve lives throughout Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington and Alexandria. Programs include: support groups, education classes, youth and family events, Help Line, “lived experience” public presentations by NAMI-trained presenters, YouthFest, Monthly Meetings open to the public and more!
