Who We Are

Morven Park, located in Leesburg, Virginia, was once the home of Westmoreland Davis, governor of Virginia from 1918-1922. This 1,000-acre oasis in Northern Virginia attracts about 200,000 people each year, enticed by the site’s exquisite scenery, historic gardens, sports fields, museum collections, and hiking and riding trails.

We invite the public to attend events in every season, including equestrian competitions, festivals, and hands-on learning programs. A non-profit organization, Morven Park relies on individual donations to keep its historic gates open to the public.

What We Do

As a small non-profit, Morven Park relies heavily on the generosity of our community to help us achieve our mission to preserve, protect, and share the history of the Park. Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting events, helping with mansion tours, and assisting with preservation efforts.

Based on your skills, interests, and schedule, we’ll find a role that’s perfect for you! Whether your passion lies in Park events, history, preservation, or equestrian sports, there are countless ways to get involved and make a meaningful impact. Your time, energy, and dedication will not only support our mission, but also make you a valued member of the Morven Park community, where you can share your unique talents and make an enduring contribution.
