Who We Are
At United Way NCA, we deliver and manage evidence-based programs that are designed and implemented through a racial equity lens. These programs are based on community wants and needs, and they achieve measurable and meaningful outcomes for which we can all be proud. What We Do
here is goodness in everyone. When it activates and truly comes alive, great things can happen. The best way we know to bring it out is to volunteer. Whether it’s for an hour, a day, once a week or once a month, you can create a tremendous impact on another person’s life.
At United Way NCA, volunteers, including youth under 18, may be involved in a variety of projects and activities, depending on our current organizational needs and events. These could include:
- preparing for or participating in a kit packing activity
- distributing essential needs items to nonprofit organization's in need
- sorting, inventorying, and/or maintaining event and essential needs supplies
- Skills-based needs like photography, videography, application reviewers
We also encourage individuals with specific goals or interests in the nonprofit sector to reach out to us at volunteer@uwnca.org to discuss opportunities to participate more wholistically in the planning, coordinating, or executing of an event.
