What We Do
Loudoun Habitat for Humanity was incorporated on April 2, 1993 for the specific purpose of providing affordable housing to those in need in Loudoun County. Our ministry is based on Christian principles and we welcome the participation of people of all faiths as we grow the organization and strive to fund and build homes for those in need. Loudoun Habitat strives to enhance the quality of life of every citizen by: raising community consciousness and support for the need of affordable housing; promoting and nurturing partner families in self-sufficiency and house ownership without discrimination; and forming partnerships with donors, suppliers, contractors and faith-based organizations to provide much-needed resources. In addition, the Loudoun Habitat for Humanity ReStore supports the Habitat mission by raising funds for continued growth and by increasing public awareness about the need for affordable housing. We also help protect the environment by recycling useable materials and keeping them out of the waste stream.
